Connecticut Beef Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew meat (1-inch cubes)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 large onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
4 medium potatoes, pared, thinly sliced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream mushroom soup
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation

Season meat with salt and pepper.
Cook and stir meat and onions in oil in large skillet over medium heat until meat is brown and onions are tender.
Pour off oil.
