Beef-Tomato-Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large potatoes, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. oregano (optional)
    onion, sliced (optional)
Preparation
    Arrange layer of potatoes in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole; season with salt and pepper. Put ground beef on top of potatoes; pour tomatoes over beef. Sprinkle with oregano and spread with slices of onion. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes. Remove lid and brown.
