Elephant Ears - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 level tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix in order given.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Knead a little (you may need to add more flour); roll out on well floured board into 4 to 5-inch rounds (very thin).
Drop into hot oil (375\u00b0) for 10 to 15 seconds.
Carefully turn over with tongs so they don't break apart.
Do other side for 10 to 15 seconds.
Drain on paper towel.
Brush with stick of melted butter.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
