Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oleo
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. lemon or vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 can blueberry or cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix together first 4 ingredients.
    Blend in flour.
    Drop batter on lightly greased jelly roll pan; spread evenly.
    Mark lightly and drop teaspoon of filling in each square (6 x 4-inch). Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut squares. Sift powdered sugar over squares while still warm.
