1 can Dinty Moore beef stew (1 1/2 or 2 1/2 lb. can)
1 egg
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
3/4 c. milk
1 c. self-rising corn meal
1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. sliced green onion or chopped green pepper
