Oriental Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. carrot, chopped fine
1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1/2 c. vegetable oil
6 c. cold rice, cooked
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
1 c. green peas, cooked
Preparation

Saute green pepper, celery, carrot and green onion in vegetable oil until vegetables are tender.
Add cooked rice. Stir in soy sauce, garlic salt and pepper.
In separate pan, scramble the 2 eggs in small amount of oil with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Fold the egg mixture and the green peas into the rice mixture and toss lightly.
Add additional soy sauce to taste.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
