Special K Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
6 c. Special K cereal
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) bag butterscotch chips

Preparation

Combine sugar and corn syrup in saucepan.
Bring to boil; boil for 1 minute.
Measure peanut butter and cereal in large bowl. Mix carefully, trying not to crush cereal.
Pour corn syrup, sugar mixture over cereal and peanut butter; stir quickly to cover cereal.
Place into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan; spread evenly.
