Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco or 1 stick butter or margarine, creamed well
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 c. flour (self-rising)
1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Stir with a spoon.
Roll out by hand or roll into a ball.
Bake at 450\u00b0; cook until lightly browned.
