Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    6 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    3 bananas, sliced
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple (with syrup)
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries or 1 qt. fresh
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    nuts
    maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions.
    Cool.
    Cut into bite-size pieces.
    Place in bottom of punch bowl.
    Prepare pudding according to directions.
    Layer over cake.
    Layer remaining ingredients in following order:
    bananas, pineapple, strawberries and whipped topping.
    Garnish with nuts and cherries.
