White Christmas Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. dates, chopped
    1 lb. white raisins
    1/2 c. chopped, candied pineapple
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Stir in eggs and vanilla.
    Mix 3 cups flour with salt.
    Stir into butter mixture.
    Mix 1 cup flour with fruits and nuts.
    Add to mixture and stir well.
    Grease tube pan. Place 2 or 3 layers waxed paper on bottom and sides.
    Pour batter into pan.
    Pour 2 cups water in shallow pan.
    Place on bottom shelf of oven underneath cake.
    Bake in preheated oven at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until tests done.
