"Doctored Up" Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) jar kosher dill pickles, drained and quartered lengthwise
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Heat and mix sugar, vinegar and water until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour over pickles in a large container.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours before use.
    May be packed back into jars and refrigerated.
    Yields 8 pints.
