Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. water
    2 envelopes Knox gelatine
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    red food coloring
    1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    1 c. sugar
    bananas
    strawberries
Preparation
    Dissolve 1/3 cup water and gelatine.
    Add 2 cups water, 1 1/2 cups sugar and red food coloring.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Mix 1/3 cup water, cornstarch and pinch of salt.
    Add to boiling mixture. Boil until clear.
    Add 1 cup more sugar.
    (If berries are sweet, I only add 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar.) Let cool; spread some on pie shell.
    Slice layer of bananas over shell.
    Fill with strawberries and mixture.
    Chill overnight.
    Serve with whipped cream.
    Makes 2 pies.
