Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    vanilla to taste
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and cold water.
    Boil until brittle when you try it in cold water.
    Then pour slowly over the stiffly beaten whites of 2 eggs.
    Add cream of tartar, vanilla to taste and nuts when it is nearly ready to pour.
    Mark into squares.
