Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/4 confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla and 1 tablespoon water. Add flour and mix well.
    Add nuts.
    Form small rolls about 1 1/2 inches.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
    While hot, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
