Candied Pecan Halves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 c. pecan halves (heat 5 minutes at 375~)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water, cinnamon and salt in pan.
    Cook to 236\u00b0. Remove from heat and add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and mix.
    Add warm nuts.
    Turn over and stir until all nuts are coated.
    Turn out on cookie sheet and separate nuts with fork.
