Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. grated sharp cheese
1/2 c. oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 tsp. hot pepper, crushed
2 eggs
1 can cream-style corn
Preparation

Combine ingredients.
Heat iron skillet or bread pan with bacon drippings (or oil) in 400\u00b0 oven.
Pour in batter and bake until brown, about 30 minutes.
