Tomato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
1/2 c. olive oil
2 Tbsp. wine vinegar or lemon juice
1 Tbsp. finely cut fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. finely chopped garlic
1 tsp. salt
freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp. thinly sliced scallions
1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh Italian parsley
Preparation

Arrange tomato slices in slightly overlapping circles on a deep round plate or platter.
For dressing, mix oil, vinegar, basil, garlic, salt and a few grinds of pepper; pour over tomatoes.
Combine scallions and parsley; sprinkle evenly on top.
