Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 tsp. oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    dash of salt and pepper
    2 c. chicken or turkey broth
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. frozen egg noodles
    1 small pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1 pt. half and half
    2 c. Velveeta cheese
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil until tender.
    Add salt and pepper, broth, water and milk.
    Bring to a hard boil.
    Add egg noodles.
    Cook until half done.
    Add broccoli and cook 5 minutes or until tender. Cut cheese up in small chunks.
    Add to soup mixture until melted. Add half and half.
    I like to add bits of chicken to make a hearty chicken soup.
