Chile Con Queso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. American cheese
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. cream or evaporated milk
    1 medium fresh tomato, chopped
    1 or more fresh, frozen or canned green chiles, chopped
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Melt both cheeses together on low heat of electric surface unit.
    After cheese melts, add cream, stirring constantly.
    Add chopped tomato, chopped green chiles and garlic powder.
    Stir to blend all flavors.
    Add more cream if desired.
    Serve warm in skillet or chafing dish with Tostados.
