Wild Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. rice (Uncle Ben's mix)
    1/2 c. diced celery
    2 to 3 green onions, chopped
    1 head romaine lettuce, torn up
    1 small can peas
    1/2 c. toasted sliced almonds
    1 can sliced water chestnuts (optional)
    1 small can salmon or diced cold chicken, ham or shrimp (optional)
Preparation
    Cook rice.
    Chill, then add celery, onions, lettuce, peas, almonds, water chestnuts and salmon, chicken, ham or shrimp.
