Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 scant c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. dry yeast
    1 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. salt
    10 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk and pour over sugar and shortening.
    Add mashed potatoes and when all has cooled to lukewarm, add yeast, which has been dissolved in warm milk.
    Add 5 cups flour.
    Let rise until double in bulk (about 2 hours).
    Then add salt, soda and baking powder to remaining flour and make a light dough.
    Grease large bowl and put dough in it.
    Put in refrigerator.
    When ready to use, roll into your favorite shapes and allow to rise in warm room. Bake at 425\u00b0 to 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
