Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 small yellow squash, sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    water to cover, barely
    1 egg (raw)
    1 to 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3/4 stick margarine
    1/2 to 1 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in salted water until tender and water has cooked down.
    Remove from heat and add egg, 1 cup cheese and margarine.
    Mix well; until margarine melts.
    Pour into casserole and sprinkle on bread crumbs and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Bake 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
