Basic Italian Meat Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 2 lb. ground beef
1 qt. stewed tomatoes, squished
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 large diced onion
3 or 4 diced cloves garlic
2 tsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. parsley
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in skillet.
In a large kettle, combine other ingredients.
Drain meat mixture and add to kettle. Bring to a boil.
Turn down to simmer and let cook 2 hours. Do not cover!
Remove from heat.
Use as is for spaghetti.
