Stuffing For Baked Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices hard bread (1 c. bread crumbs)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion (finely minced)
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 small egg
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1 tsp. onion salt
    milk, if needed
Preparation
    Soak bread in cold water until soft, mash smooth, add butter, onion, parsley and a little milk.
    Mixture must be just firm enough to keep its shape.
    Stuff fish, sewing the opening.
    If a dry crumbly stuffing is preferred, omit soaking and use half cracker crumbs.
    Capers or pickles may be used in place of onions. Serve with egg sauce.
