Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. powdered skim milk
2 pkg. Equal
1 tsp. maple extract
2/3 c. water
2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
pan of iced water
Preparation

Make a pan of ice water.
Set mixing bowl in water.
Add milk, sweetener and 1/3 cup of water to mixing bowl.
Add extract mix. In a small pan, soften the gelatin in 1/3 cup water.
Bring to a boil.
To keep gelatin from getting tough, with an electric mixer at high speed, begin to whip milk in bowl, submerged in the ice water.
This helps it to whip quicker.
Slowly add the gelatin mix. Continue to whip until like whipped cream.
Spoon onto wax paper, freeze until ready to eat.
