Swedish Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. molasses
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Grease and flour 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine first four ingredients.
    Cut in shortening with fork.
    Remove 1/2 cup and set aside for topping.
    Combine molasses, soda and sour milk.
    (To make sour milk, place 1 tablespoon vinegar in measuring cup and fill with milk to make 1 cup.)
    Add molasses/milk mixture to dry mixture and stir with fork until just moistened.
    Do not beat.
    Pour into prepared pan.
    Cover with crumb topping.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
