Oatmeal Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    3 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugars.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Sift together flour, salt and soda; add to cream mixture. Stir in oats and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
