Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
Preparation

Cut meat into serving size pieces and pound with a meat hammer.
Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Coat the meat with the seasoned flour.
In a large skillet, brown meat in hot oil.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender.
