Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 qt. popcorn (remove unpopped kernels)
1 box light brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
1 tsp. salt or less
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Put popcorn in baking pan.
Put sugar, margarine, salt and syrup in a heavy, 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until boiling begins.
Stop stirring and cook for 5 more minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon soda and stir.
Pour over popcorn and stir to coat as evenly as possible.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Stir every 15 minutes.
Pour out on wax paper to cool.
Store in airtight containers.
