Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chopped up onion
    few potatoes
    salt and pepper
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup
    2 cans asparagus (don't drain)
    1 shredded carrot
    1 stick oleo
    1 can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Peel and boil onion and potatoes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Add soup to water with potatoes and onions.
    When cheese soup is melted, add asparagus.
    I also put in a shredded carrot for color. In a small pan, melt oleo.
    Add flour until smooth.
    Add to boiling soup to thicken.
    Remove from heat and put in evaporated milk.
