Caramel Chocolate Chip Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines caramel flavored cake mix
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter flavor Crisco shortening
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Combine cake mix, eggs, water, brown sugar and shortening in a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
    Mixture will be thick.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Spread in a greased pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 24 to 27 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan.
    Cut into bars.
