Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. sugar
    1 1/4 qt. vinegar
    3/4 qt. water
    2 Tbsp. cloves (whole)
    16 lb. peaches (small or medium)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar, water and cloves (place cloves in a clean, white cloth, tied with a string; remove after cooking). Bring to boil and let simmer, covered, about 30 minutes.
