Fresh Peach Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. peach flavored Jell-O
3 c. sliced, peeled, ripe peaches
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
whipped cream or Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and water until smooth.
Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly and thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in Jell-O until dissolved. Cool.
Arrange peaches in pie crust; pour cooled filling over peaches.
Chill in refrigerator until set, at least 2 hours. Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
