Carolina Colonial Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie crust
    8 Tbsp. butter, at room temperature
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. white raisins
    1 c. sugar
    3 large eggs, at room temperature
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar on medium speed of electric mixer until light.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla.
    Stir in pecans, raisins and coconut.
    Mix well.
    Pour filling into crust.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
