Schnitzles(Hamburgers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef or pork, ground
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 slightly beaten egg
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 slices stale bread, soaked in milk or water and squeezed out or 1/4 to 1/2 c. cracker meal
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well by hand.
    Heat skillet with 1 tablespoon oil and make medium sized patties out of meat mixture. Brown broth sides in skillet over medium-low heat.
