Souped Up Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

flour
salt and pepper
1 chicken broiler, cut up
1/4 c. margarine or 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 large onion, sliced into rings
1 can cream of chicken soup, mixed with 1 can water
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation

Dust in flour, salt and pepper the chicken.
Brown well in margarine or oil.
Lay onion on top of chicken.
Add soup and water, poultry seasoning and salt and pepper to season.
Cover tightly and cook over very low heat for 45 minutes.
One cup milk or 1 cup dairy sour cream may be added just before serving, if desired.
