Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 large can Pet milk
    2 Tbsp. dark Karo syrup
    12 oz. peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cocoa, milk, salt and syrup together.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook to a soft ball stage (about 8 minutes).
    Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, nuts and butter.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour onto a buttered platter until hard.
    Cut into pieces.
