Fresh Shrimp Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. shrimp
1 qt. salted water
1/4 c. wine vinegar
head of lettuce
2 tomatoes
horseradish
Preparation

Clean and devein 1 pound fresh shrimp.
Cook shrimp in one quart lightly salted water with 1/4 cup vinegar.
Cook about 10 minutes.
Let shrimp cool in cooking liquid until cold.
Remove shrimp and drain.
Place chunks of fresh crisp lettuce on salad plate and arrange tomato wedges on top.
Top each salad plate with shrimp and top with shredded horseradish.
Serves 4.
