Broccoli-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    5 c. water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    5 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, broken
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1 lb. white American cheese
Preparation
    Heat oil; saute onion.
    Add water and bouillon; bring to a boil.
    Add noodles, salt and garlic powder; cook 3 minutes.
    Add broccoli and cook 4 more minutes.
    Add torn up cheese and stir until melted.
    Add milk and heat.
