Grandma Jessie'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Preparation

Cream first 5 ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients.
Roll into ball (walnut size).
Put on cookie sheet.
Dip wet fork into sugar and flatten.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
