1 1/4 c. sugar, divided
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. hot water
7 Tbsp. cocoa, divided
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
Preparation

In medium mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Blend in milk, melted butter and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Pour batter into 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan.
In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter.
Pour hot water over top; do not stir.
