Crunchy Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 bunches broccoli
1 c. salad dressing
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 small onion, grated
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Preparation

Rinse broccoli in several changes of cool water. Trim hard fiber parts and discard. Chop stems and florets into bite-sized pieces. Set aside. Make dressing by combining salad dressing, vinegar, sugar, onion and raisins. Refrigerate overnight, if possible. At serving, drizzle dressing over broccoli and add sunflower seeds and bacon bits. Toss lightly and serve immediately. Chicken may be added for a heartier salad.
