Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a small bowl, combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in oats and morsels.
Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crispy cookies.
Yields 4 dozen.
