Aunt Fay'S Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box strawberry jello
    1 large pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup
    1 c. boiling water
    3 mashed bananas
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained (1 big can)
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add pineapple, mashed bananas and nuts.
    Stir well.
    Pour half mixture into 13 x 9-inch glass dish and put in icebox until set, about 1 hour.
    When set firm, spoon on sour cream and spread over set mixture, then spoon on other half jello mixture and put in icebox until completely set, about 2 hours.
    Then serve.
