Garlic Cheese Grits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Aunt Jemima quick grits
4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine
1 (6 oz.) roll garlic cheese
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/8 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
dash of cayenne pepper
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook grits in boiling water until thick.
Remove from heat. Stir in butter and garlic cheese until melted.
Mix egg, milk, garlic powder and pepper and add to grits.
Pour into well-greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Top with sharp cheese.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serves 6.
