Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Mexicorn or creamed corn
    1 medium onion
    1 3/4 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. milk
    1 pkg. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients together.
    Stir in chopped onion in small bowl.
    Beat egg, milk, oil and canned corn together.
    Add to dry mixture and mix well.
    Lightly grease medium baking dish or iron skillet.
    Add 1/2 mixture to baking dish.
    Add package of Cheddar cheese to top of mixture and spread out evenly, then add the rest of corn bread mixture.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool, then cut.
