Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) pie shell
    2 1/2 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes
    1 stick unsalted butter, softened
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    1 (7 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Beat sweet potatoes and butter with electric mixer until smooth.
    Add sugar, nutmeg and vanilla and continue beating until incorporated.
    Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each egg.
    Add milk slowly, beating continuously. Transfer filling to pie shell and smooth top with a spoon.
    Bake until pie is set in center and lightly browned.
    Takes about 40 minutes in oven on 300\u00b0.
