Gold Brick'S Or "Congo Bars" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 lb. pkg. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels (12 oz.)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and brown sugar.
    Add all other ingredients and mix.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool for 10 minutes.
    Cut into little squares.
