German Chocolate Snack Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
4 large eggs, divided
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
ice cream (vanilla) or whipped topping
Preparation

Stir together cake mix, 1 egg, pecans and butter; press mixture into bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Beat sugar, cream cheese and remaining 3 eggs at medium speed with mixture until creamy. Spoon powdered sugar mixture over batter in pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour. Cool and cut into 2 to 3-inch square. Serve with ice cream or put Cool Whip on top.
