Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. cream
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry. Brush the inside with white of egg.
Chill.
Beat eggs slightly with fork; add the sugar and salt; stir until blended.
Add milk and cream; blend well.
Gently pour custard into pie pan. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for 50 minutes.
